In this detailed guide, I’ll walk you through every step: from setting up your blog, customizing it, adding pages, installing themes, and finally adding ads to start earning from Day 1.

1.       Creating Your Blog on Blogger

1)      Open your browser and go to blogger.com.

2)      Click on the “Create Your Blog” button.

3)      Sign in using your Google account.

4)      Enter the name of your blog and click Next.

5)      Choose a URL for your blog. If it's available, click Next.

6)      Enter a display name and click Finish.

7)      Your blog is now created. Click Visit Blog to see it live.

1)      Go to Layout → find Social Top → click Edit.

2)      Edit Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. → replace URLs with yours.

3)      To add new ones, click Add New Site and save.

6.       Uploading a Logo

1)      In Layout, find Header Logo → click Edit.

2)      Upload your logo → choose “Have description after image” → Save.

3)      Also update the Mobile Logo the same way.

7.      Setup Main Menu and Labels

1)      In Layout, find Main Menu → click Edit.

2)      Keep only relevant items based on your blog labels.

3)      Edit "Home" → paste your homepage URL.

4)      For labels, scroll to Featured Posts section.

3)      Format it → add link to your Contact page if needed.

4)      Publish the page.

5)      Copy the URL → go to Layout → Footer Section → Edit → paste it in place of “Privacy Policy”.

11.  Set Favicon and Robots.txt

1)      Go to Settings → find Favicon → upload icon file.

2)      Enable Custom Robots.txt → paste this format:

Allow: /

Disallow: /category/

Disallow: /tag/

3)      Replace with your blog’s actual URL.

4. Save it.

12.  Submit Blog to Google Search Console

1)      Open Google Search Console

2)      Paste your blog URL under URL Prefix → Continue → Ownership auto verifies.

3)      Go to Sitemaps → type: sitemap.xml → Submit.

4)      Use URL Inspection to index each post manually.

13.  Add Ads with Adsterra

1)      Go to adsterra.com → create an account.

2)      Click Add Website → paste blog URL → choose category → select Banner (728x90).

3)      Click Get Code → Copy code.

4)      Go to Blogger Layout → Header Section → click Add HTML/JavaScript → paste code → Save.

5)      For sidebar ads: repeat process with a smaller ad unit.
